Remote connections have to be enabled in the computer properties of that machine, and the local firewall adjusted for corresponding traffic (TCP 3389). The server is the PC you want to connect to (typically your home PC).I use it for connections to my home PC from work. It served the same purpose as the Microsoft RDP gateway, but without requirements for Windows Server and licences. I get the same error and the handshake fails.Stunnel utility can be used to tunnel RDP connexions through HTTPS/SSL in order to pass through proxies. I also tried it with a self generated key and cert file but no luck. I am using the same cert as I use for my SSL. Key = /etc/apache2/ssl/ssl-cert-businessgame.keyĬert = /etc/apache2/ssl/ssl-cert-businessgame.pemĬAfile = /etc/apache2/ssl/ssl-cert-businessgame.pemĬlient browser console: WebSocket connection to 'wss://businessgame.be:9301/socket/server.php' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_SOCKET_NOT_CONNECTED The PHP Websocket server script I have is based on this git There seems to be an issue in the handshake being performed. So I just want to redirect a secure wss to an unsercure ws version of the socket so I don't have to change the script. Now that my site has changed to https I have to call a wss but it's not working. What I have is an old websocket server script listening on port 9300 which is then called by the client's browser using javascript through ws.
